Curb Appeal
Start with the outside of your home, or your curb appeal. Look at the outside of your house from the view of a passerby. What jumps out at you? What great characteristics seem waiting to be noticed?
Knowing this helps us to decide what measures we can take to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your home isn't pretty on the outside with retouched paint and colorful garden plants it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and elevate your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your house seem to say, "Hello From Your New Place" to a buyer? Looking through your property with a buyer's eye, I'll recommend changes that build up Open House appeal.
I'll suggest that you get rid of anything that gives the appearance of clutter. Tabletops should be free and clear. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' works of art should get stored away too. We'll de-clutter your house. Less than inviting or messy spots make your home feel unkempt and buyers have a harder time picturing themselves calling your place home.
I'll review every room of your home. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need new paint, rugs needing to be changed, fixtures that could use shining, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively impact the sale.
Working together, we'll make sure your house is likable and that it's welcoming, avoiding "loud" or "can't-work-with" hues on the walls and furniture. And if the house is empty, you can try temporary furniture. You want your place to look ready to live in as opposed to abandoned.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when you're ready to open your home up to buyers, because all of the changes come together to set the stage for what buyers can look forward to after they close on your house. Brightness is critical and we'll part the curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to show off your property. We'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music playing softly and ensure a pleasant scent circulates room-to-room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking throws, and pillows on your couch and bed. We want buyers to feel like your home is their future home. |
